Why a folding slingshot

Every slingshot we’d ever owned had the same problem. The classic Y-frame is great in your hand and useless everywhere else — too bulky for a pocket, too awkward for a pack, always left behind in a drawer. A tool you can’t carry isn’t really a tool.

So we built one around a single question: what if it disappeared until you needed it? FoldShot collapses to the footprint of a credit card. It rides flat in a wallet, a glovebox, a tackle box, a range bag. Then the arms swing out and lock in one motion, and you’re holding a full-size shooter.

Folding was the easy part. Making it hit like a real slingshot took the rest of the time. We chased band geometry for months — the anchor points, the draw angle, the exact length of 1745 latex — until the compact frame delivered genuine velocity instead of a toy’s flick. The chassis is high-density ABS so it can take that tension, again and again, plus the drops and weather that come with actually carrying something.

Then we hollowed out the handle so it carries its own ammo. Fourteen rounds of 6 mm steel, right in the grip, so you’re never patting your pockets for the next shot.
